This year see’s some possible changes to the regular chopper trip arrangements. These are as follows:

Urewera trips: as per previous years, flying with Heli-Resources at Murapara, parties of three, NZBS members only, no rifles, no dogs, $250 each. First trip, a new timing option we haven’t tried before, August 19-22. Second trip, usual time as already mentioned in the magazine October 14-17.

We are also trying a new, additional trip, this one into the Whirinaki for the same price. It will take place November 18-21. We need a minimum of three parties for each of these trips, money must be paid into the Society’s account no later than three weeks prior to the trip, if you pull out after that it is your responsibility to find a replacement or pay for the seat.
